Sunburst Stables: Near lake Burton in Habersham County. Sunburst offers guided trail rides into the Chattahoochee National Forest on 4000 acres of beautiful mountain trails. Rides are suitable for any experience level, and riders 7yrs and older ride on their own horse. Riders under 7 ride double with a parent, Double riders sit behind the parent in a small seat and are required to hold on to a handle during the ride. Two hr Mountain, lunch and sunset rides do allow trotting and cantering when appropriate and group is able. One hour rides and rides with small children are generally slower paced.
