Here are some of the places you should not miss for shopping:

Stekoa Creek Trading Company: Filled with upscale gifts, décor, boutique foods and supplies as well as unique line of clothing. Bought Gayle a faux leather coat for Christmas (hope she does not read this blog). https://www.facebook.com/Stekoa-Creek-Trading-Company-71446967791/

Lulu and Tully’s: This is an upscale consignment shop. There are lots of wealthy homes on the lakes and they are constantly updating furniture, so expect some good prices on upscale products. Also lots of wonderful clutter for your shelves. https://www.facebook.com/luluandtullys/

Timpson Creek Gallery: Located about 8 miles west of downtown. This is an authentic gallery of locally made rustic “twig” furniture and an eclectic mix of Western art, jewelry, curated antiques and some nice outdoor art. http://www.timpsoncreek.com/

Main Street Gallery: This is one of my all-time favorite galleries. Very unique art, primarily folk art with a mix of contemporary paintings. In addition, they have some really fun socks, slippers, jewelry. It is three floors of wonderful art, most of it by local artists. The gallery is bright and open and it’s very easy to view all of the wonderful artwork. https://mainstreetgallery.net/

Shopping here is an experience that permits you to touch and feel and reminisce, while surrounded by things of bygone days. Also, he rents out a fully restored Caboose as an Airbnb lodge. https://mainstreetgallery.net/

Reeves Hardware: This store is a way of life. You can find hardware, guns ammo, bridal boutique and gifts, tuxedos for rent and almost any kind of gadget you might want to tinker with. This is a modern “Old Time Country Store.” If you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it. https://www.reevesacehardware.com/
