April 27 – Celebrate Clayton Farm to Table Dinner: With warmer Spring weather we are offering some seasonally inspired dishes  that are farm fresh.



April 27 – Celebrate Clayton Farm to Table Dinner

At the Beechwood Inn we celebrate local ingredients and include as many as we can. Our recipes present us with the opportunity to use the most flavorful produce, meats, and cheeses in our region. So, we’ve gone to our grandmother’s old Southern Cookbook and dug out some of our favorites from our childhood. And then jazzed them up just a little bit.  In addition, we’ve paired them to some of the best Georgia wines made. Dinner is $89 per person, plus tax and gratuity and includes one glass (4 ounces) each of the suggested wines. Additional wine is available on our wine list. Wine-thirty at 6:30pm and sit down for dinner at 7:00pm.

 Appetizer: Lemon Catfish with Angel Hair Cabbage Slaw, Glass of Beechwood Inn Wine

 Salad:  Black-Eyed Pea Salad on Local Farm Micro-Greens and Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dressing

 Entrée: Grilled Wolffolk Valley Farm Lamb Lollipops with Mint and Herbs, Twice Baked Potatoes with Garlic and Cheese, Buttered Spring Peas, Gayle’s Sourdough Bread and Local Butter

Beechwood Inn offers fine dining in North Georgia almost every Saturday featuring Chef’s Tasting Dinners paired to fine wines. Each menu is pre-selected by our chefs based on what is seasonal and available that day. Most of our seasonal foods are organic and natural, many from sustainable North Georgia farms, orchards, dairies and vineyards. Due to the special nature of our foods advance reservations are needed. Cooking classes and farm tours can be arranged. The Inn features Northeast Georgia’s only Wine Spectator Award of Excellence wine list.
